Crispy Salmon Patties Recipe

Ingredients

– 1 (14.75 oz) can salmon, drained and flaked – ½ cup breadcrumbs (plus more for coating) – 1 egg – ¼ cup finely chopped onion – 2 tablespoons chopped parsley – 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard – 1 tablespoon lemon juice – Salt and pepper to taste – 2–3 tablespoons oil for frying

Instructions

Mix the ingredients: In a medium bowl, combine salmon, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, parsley, mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix until fully blended.

Shape the patties: Form the mixture into small patties (about 6–8), then lightly coat each in additional breadcrumbs for extra crispiness.

Heat the oil: In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat. Once hot, carefully place the patties in the pan without overcrowding.

Cook until golden: Fry patties for about 3–4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain.

Serve: Enjoy warm with tartar sauce, a squeeze of lemon, or over a fresh salad.
